What would you do i

So I was given these seneros in a color class this week and I want to now what you would do and handle this.. keep in mind that this was written in the late 80s early 90s.

1. The client wants to cover obviously gray hair , but he is afraid to do so because he is not sure it will result in a natural look. Camouflaging the gray hair was suggested to him when he received a chemical wave.

2. The client wants to have even coloring results. Several shampoos after her double-processing retouch, the shafts and ends seemed to lose the toning shade. her former colorist said that the problem was the quality of her hair and so it could not be corrected. She was advised to chemically wave her hair so that the curl would hide the darker scalp area.

Girls updo

Happy Sunday :) to day was a boring day for me. Nothing on tv today , so I got the girls in the show and decided to do updos on them.. So here is one ..........

What I did was a french braid starting on one side of her head and wrapping around the other side . Ignore the messy loop I fixed it after I took the picture.

the extra part of the braid I pined and tucked it under the braid.
I used a 1/2 in curling Iron and did spiral curls
Starting from the right side I twisted the curls and pined them useing hair pin not bobbie pins.
the end result.

Did I lose a friend or Gain a client ?

This is my dilemma should I feel badly or did I win this client fair and square.
So last week I had a sister in law of a friend call me asking if I can do I highlight retouch on her because her sister in law that did her highlights would not do it for her.  So without asking question I told her that I could do it at the school because I was busy at home and was not able to do it outside of school. She came in yesterday and her hair was a HOT MESS!!   There was a lot of under and over processing. I had an instructor come over and help me did the consultation. As we looked over her hair we could not figure how out how her hair was weaved. We informed her that we could try as best as we could to fix it. So as I was prepping her I was making small talk. She told me not to say anything to her in law about her coming in to see me.
So I was asking her on what had happened. She told me that she went over to my friend’s house and she was doing some one else’s hair and she asked her if she had time to do her hair. So she did them while the other person was processing.  She foiled her whole head in 30 min, this girl’s hair is really long I was surprised .When I was foiling her hair I could not find any kind of pattern there were spots where the highlighted parts were 2x2 inches thick.  I asked if she was trying to do peak a boos, she said no that she wanted it chunking but not THAT chunky. I tried my hardest to make it blend.  During all of this I did not say anything negative about the other “stylist”. By the time I was ready to start my last section we had an audience of instructor around us.  When we were at the bowl ready to tone her we could not figure out what to use because of all the different  levels in her hair so we decided on just 9N but I had be really careful about where I put the toner ,  cause we did not want the lighter levels to get violet.  So at the end all went well and she is very happy with the turned out.   She also told me that she will now just go to me and that she will follow me to the salon that will be at after graduation which is 30 minutes away from her.  So Did I gain a faithful client or will I lose a friend?
